Al Aseel is an authentic Lebanese restaurant group with 9 locations across Sydney, Australia. We have been serving traditional Lebanese cuisine since 1998, built on a genuine love of food, hospitality, and community. Every dish is made with fresh ingredients and follows the traditions of Lebanese home cooking.

All Al Aseel locations are 100% Halal certified by the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC).

Al Aseel is a family-friendly restaurant and many of our dishes are well-suited to children, including grilled chicken skewers (shish tawook), Lebanese bread, hommos, and chips. Please ask your server for recommendations when you arrive. High chairs are available at most locations.

Selected Al Aseel locations have private dining rooms and function spaces available for group bookings, birthdays, engagements, and corporate events. Contact your preferred location to check availability and discuss your requirements.

For larger off-site events, our dedicated Catering and Events team can bring the Al Aseel experience to you.

You can book a table online at alaseel.com.au/book-now. Select your preferred location, date, time, and party size. Bookings are managed through SevenRooms and you will receive a confirmation via email or SMS.

Yes. Al Aseel regularly caters for large groups and celebrations. For groups of 10 or more, we recommend calling your preferred location directly so we can ensure the right table setup and seating arrangement.

For events requiring catering for 20 or more guests, consider our Catering and Events service which can be delivered to any venue across Sydney.

Absolutely. Al Aseel is a popular choice for birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, and family gatherings. When booking online or calling, let the team know about your occasion so they can help make it special. Selected locations have private dining rooms available.

Yes, walk-ins are welcome at all Al Aseel locations, subject to availability. During busy periods (Friday and Saturday evenings, public holidays, school holidays) we recommend booking ahead to avoid a wait.

Yes. Al Aseel offers online ordering for pickup (click and collect) from all locations. Place your order at al-aseel.deliverectdirect.com and collect from your preferred restaurant when it is ready.

Liverpool location also accepts orders via the MeandU app.

Al Aseel does not currently offer home delivery through third-party platforms like Uber Eats or DoorDash. All online orders must be collected in store. For large orders or events, our catering team offers delivery as part of catering packages (minimum $500 delivery order).

Yes. Order online for pickup at al-aseel.deliverectdirect.com. You can browse the full menu, customise your order, and pay securely online. Your order will be ready for collection at your chosen location.

Yes. Al Aseel is 100% Halal certified across all 9 Sydney locations. Certification is issued by the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) Halal Authority, which ensures full compliance with Islamic dietary laws. Any regulatory updates from ANIC are immediately implemented across all Al Aseel restaurants and suppliers.

No. Al Aseel does not serve alcohol at any of its restaurant locations, in keeping with our Halal certification. We offer a range of non-alcoholic beverages including soft drinks, juices, and traditional Lebanese drinks.

Yes. Lebanese cuisine naturally includes a wide variety of vegetarian-friendly dishes. At Al Aseel, vegetarian options include hommos, baba ghanouj, fattoush, tabouli, spinach fatayer, vegetarian vine leaves, batata harra, and more. Please ask your server for the full list of vegetarian items on the current menu.

We take allergies seriously. Please inform your server of any allergies or dietary requirements before ordering. Our kitchen team will do their best to accommodate your needs, however please note that our kitchens handle nuts, gluten, dairy, and sesame products. We recommend calling ahead for more complex dietary requirements.

Yes. Al Aseel Catering and Events has been delivering Lebanese catering across Sydney since 1998. We cater for weddings, corporate events, christenings, engagements, birthdays, funerals, and private celebrations of all sizes.

Services range from drop-off catering trays to full buffet setups with warmers and risers, through to onsite chefs and wait staff for events of 50 or more guests.

Set menu catering packages start from $49 per person (minimum 20 guests) for the Al Aseel Signature package. Other packages include:

• The Arabian - $59pp (min 20 guests)
• The Mediterranean - $69pp (min 20 guests)
• The Grand Buffet - $139pp including a live station chef (min 50 guests)
• Mercy Meal (funeral/memorial) - $59pp (min 50 guests)

Yes. Al Aseel Catering and Events is a popular choice for Sydney weddings and engagements. We provide bespoke Lebanese catering experiences including full buffet setups, live stations, onsite chefs, and wait staff. We cater at any venue across Sydney - from residential gardens to grand event halls.

Yes. We regularly deliver corporate catering to businesses across Sydney CBD and surrounds - from working lunches and team events to full-day conferences. Drop-off catering is available with a minimum order of $300 for pickup or $500 for delivery. Contact our catering team to discuss your requirements.

Al Aseel serves authentic Lebanese cuisine. The menu includes:

• Cold Mezza - hommos, baba ghanouj, fattoush, tabouli, kibbeh nayeh, vine leaves
• Hot Mezza - sambousek, fried kibbeh, fatayer, batata harra, calamari
• From the Grill - kafta, shish tawook, laham mishwe, mixed grill platters
• Signature Dishes - mansaf, kousa ablama, samkeh harrah, chicken shawarma
• Salads and Sides - fresh Lebanese bread, rice, chips
• Desserts - baklava, knefeh, and assorted Lebanese sweets

Mezza (also spelled mezze) is the Lebanese tradition of sharing multiple small dishes at the table - similar to tapas. At Al Aseel, cold mezza includes dips, salads, and cured items, while hot mezza covers warm appetisers and pastries. Mezza is designed to be shared and is a central part of the Lebanese dining experience.

Yes. Freshness and quality are central to our cooking. Al Aseel uses fresh produce and follows traditional Lebanese preparation methods. All meat is sourced from ANIC-certified Halal suppliers. Our chefs prepare dishes daily in each location's kitchen.

Yes. Al Aseel has a restaurant at Accor Stadium (formerly ANZ Stadium) in Sydney Olympic Park, open for NRL matches and selected major events. It is a great option for pre-game dining before a match.

Bookings are strongly recommended for Accor Stadium as tables fill quickly on match days. Book online via our Book Now page and select the Accor Stadium location. The restaurant is only open on event days - check the Accor Stadium page for upcoming event dates.
